I have been taking my car to Ray and Roys for about six years now and have never been dissatisfied by any of their work. I also accompanied my daughter when she took a car she wanted to buy for a pre-sale inspection. They inspected the car and gave us a written report we took back to the dealership. The dealership repaired everything on the list and we took the car back to Ray and Roys for another inspection. We were charged for the first inspection (very reasonably) but not for the second. I used them personally for my vehicle, great service, fast and did a lot of work for a lot less than what it should have been. It's family owned and oriented and it shows. My place of work will only use them and I'm glad because I would have never known about Ray & Roy's otherwise. They are always busy but will always find the time to get you in. My parents have been taking their vehicles here for years. I came into town for the holidays and had a full service fluid change done at a quick shop. They spent all day and couldn't get it finished for various, irritating reasons. I had it towed to R&R and I'm glad I did. They had it repaired in an hour. I live a few hours out of Spokane but I'll definitely schedule my major repairs with Ray & Roys. I usually don't listen to my parents' advice at 45 yrs. old but I'm glad I did. This time.... They run a great shop with great customer service. Now I know why my parents recommended them so highly. We are about 10 hrs away from home, my battery light kept coming on, I called and talked to Shawn on the phone. He was great, even though he was booked out for 2 weeks he had me come by the shop so he could run some diagnostics. I ended up needing a new alternator, he was amazing and moved some stuff around to see what he could get done for me. He said he might need my car for a couple of days to get it done, because my alternator is in a real pain in the butt area! He had it in and out the same day!! I was very impressed with Shawn, he was very personable, knowledgeable, and gets the job done! I would definitely recommend this shop. If I'm ever back in Spokane and need a mechanic shop this is the one!
